Let's create some unforgettable stories together!
General Rules
Clipping
Requirement: You must have a working microphone and recording software (e.g., NVIDIA ShadowPlay, Medal TV, Radeon ReLive).
Clip Length: Clips must be a minimum of 2 minutes in duration to capture the full context of the situation.
Identification: When recording clips for reporting purposes, include the in-game IDs of the player(s) involved. Press the 'U' key to obtain IDs, or check your GTA-FiveM key bindings for adjustments.
Non-compliance: Failure to adhere to clipping rules may invalidate reports and lead to disciplinary action.
Age Requirement
18+ Only: All players must be 18 years or older to participate in the server.
Communication
Language Requirement: Players must be able to speak and understand English to communicate effectively with other players and staff.
Non-compliance: Failure to meet communication requirements may result in a warning or temporary ban until resolved.
Accessibility
Discord Access: Players must have access to Discord, as it is the primary means of communication for server-related matters, including staff issues, applications, and event notifications.
Non-compliance: If you don't have Discord access, your participation in the server may be restricted until it is granted.
Inclusivity
Respect & Tolerance: All players must treat one another with respect, both in and out of roleplay. Any form of discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, religion, disability, or sexual orientation will result in severe consequences, including a permanent ban.
Zero Tolerance Policy: Targeted harassment or intentional disrespect will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Advertisements
Prohibited Ads: Advertising anything unrelated to the community is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban. This includes, but is not limited to, other servers, Discord communities, or personal websites.
Poaching: If you witness server poaching or unauthorized invite links, report them to staff immediately for investigation.
Inappropriate Names
Offensive Names: Any in-game name deemed offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate will be changed immediately upon discovery, and the player may face disciplinary action.
Toxicity
Zero Tolerance for Toxic Behavior: Any form of toxicity or attempts to incite toxicity on any platform (in-game, Discord, Twitch, etc.) will result in swift action, including temporary or permanent removal from the server.
Toxic Behavior Includes: Excessive flaming, intentional trolling, and harassment of others.
Roleplay First, Victory Second
Rule: Roleplay scenarios should prioritize the experience and immersion of the story over "winning" the situation. If something does not go in your favor, accept the outcome and respect the roleplay.
Reason: Encourages a more collaborative and enjoyable roleplay environment, where players care more about the experience than simply "winning."
In-Game Rules
RDM (Random Deathmatching)
Definition: RDM is the act of killing or attempting to kill another player without any roleplay context or proper justification.
Strict Enforcement: You must have clear intent to roleplay any violent actions, and these actions must align with the situation or story you're creating.
Example: Killing someone solely because you're "friends" with them or without in-character reasoning is strictly prohibited.
VDM (Vehicle Deathmatching)
Definition: VDM refers to using a vehicle to intentionally harm or kill another player without roleplay intent.
Motorcycle Ramming: Intentionally ramming motorcycles with a vehicle is prohibited under any circumstances.
Speeding and Ramming: Speeding (150+ mph) and intentionally ramming other vehicles is not allowed, even in high-intensity situations.
Roleplay Requirement: Any act involving a vehicle must be fully roleplayed to the best of the player's ability. Reckless driving that puts others in danger without roleplay context will be treated as VDM.
Example: Speeding into a scene and intentionally ramming another vehicle just to cause chaos is not acceptable.
General Expectations
Full Roleplay Commitment: Every action must be properly roleplayed, and all violent interactions must have clear, in-character justification.
Zero Tolerance for Random Attacks: Attacking players without a valid roleplay reason will result in punishment, as it disrupts the immersive experience.
Character Deletion Upon Inactivity: Characters inactive for over 45 days may be wiped to improve city performance.
Combat Logging
Definition: Combat logging occurs when a player intentionally disconnects (F8 quits) or forcefully crashes to avoid an ongoing roleplay scenario, especially in high-stakes situations (e.g., during an arrest or robbery).
Immediate Action Required: Disconnecting mid-scene is strictly prohibited. Players must allow all roleplay scenarios to conclude before leaving.
Crashing Exception: If your game crashes, you must return to the scene immediately upon rejoining; failure to do so may be considered combat logging.
Note: Repeated combat logging will result in severe consequences up to a permanent ban.
General Initiation
Verbal Initiation Requirement: All conflict must be initiated verbally so the other party is aware they are being threatened. This applies to scenarios where a player is about to be harmed, robbed, or kidnapped.
Example: Verbally stating your intent to harm before taking action.
Initiation Restrictions
No Non-RP Communication: Initiation cannot be done over social media or text messages. It must occur in-character and verbally.
Phone Initiation Allowed: Conflict may be initiated via in-character phone calls.
Actions as Initiation: Certain in-game actions (like aiming a weapon or entering someone's vehicle without consent) are automatically considered initiation.
EMS Interaction and Initiation
No Initiation on Recently Revived Players: You cannot initiate conflict with a player who has just been revived by EMS. Injured players must roleplay their recovery.
EMS and Scene Conclusion: Once EMS arrives, they must wait for the scene to end before intervening. Participants should allow EMS to do their job.
Scene Closure: When EMS begins treatment, the scene is over and all parties must disengage.
Power Gaming
Definition: Powergaming is using out-of-character methods or unrealistic behavior to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt roleplay.
Unrealistic Body Holding: Holding a player's body unnecessarily after a scene is over is not allowed.
Green Zone Transactions: No transactions (selling, trading, robbing) are allowed in designated safe (green) zones.
Avoiding Roleplay in Homes/Garages: You cannot use personal property to avoid an active roleplay scenario.
Waiting Outside a Respawn Location: Do not wait near spawn points to ambush players immediately upon respawn.
Soul Transfer of Items/Information: Transferring items or information between characters is forbidden and will result in an automatic 1-month ban.
Robbing After EMS Revives
You cannot rob a player immediately after they've been revived by EMS. Once EMS has arrived, the scene is over, and you must leave the area.
Character Information Transfer
Do not transfer information from one character to another. Each character must exist independently without out-of-character knowledge.
Non-Stop Robbing
Robbing other players without sufficient roleplay or interaction is prohibited. Every robbery must have clear roleplay intent.
Pets and Collars: Stealing pets or their collars is not allowed.
*Cannot rob Katanas or Custom Guns*
Consequences for Powergaming
Powergaming actions will result in severe consequences ranging from temporary bans to permanent removal from the server.
No Value of Life (NVL)
Definition: NVL refers to behavior that shows a lack of respect for your character's life or well-being, breaking immersion and creating unfair situations.
Actions Constituting NVL:
- Engaging in dangerous behavior without in-character reason (e.g., running into gunfire or chasing vehicles recklessly).
- Ignoring clear life-threatening situations or failing to respond realistically.
- Showing no fear in hostage or police encounters when appropriate.
Robbery and Violence
When threatened or robbed, your character must respond realistically by:
- Complying with aggressors if the situation demands it.
- Avoiding retaliatory actions that ignore the power dynamic.
- Not attempting unrealistic escapes without proper in-character reasoning.
Hostage Rule
You may not take a member of your own gang as a hostage. A hostage must be someone your character would realistically harm or use as leverage if necessary.
Whitelisted Workers
Protection: Whitelisted workers on duty are protected from being taken hostage or harmed unless they provoke aggression. They lose this protection if they wear gang identifiers, engage in hostile behavior, or use weapons provocatively.
Out-of-Character (OOC) Communication
Definition: OOC communication occurs outside the roleplay scenario and is generally prohibited to maintain immersion.
General Rule: Do not speak OOC during active roleplay unless absolutely necessary (e.g., during staff sits or in private channels).
Exploiting
Definition: Exploiting is abusing game mechanics or glitches to gain an unfair advantage, and it disrupts roleplay for others. This includes duplicating items, using unintended emote functions, combat exploiting, etc.
New Life Rule (NLR)
Definition: The New Life Rule ensures that players start fresh after events such as death, preventing grudges or out-of-character advantages.
Re-Gearing and Conflict Resolution: After a conflict, both parties must wait 30 minutes before re-engaging in combat.
Ocean Dumping and Respawning: If a character "sees the light," they forget the events leading up to their death for 30 minutes. If not, they may remember but still cannot re-engage immediately.
Respawning Rules: You may not respawn if you are in an ongoing scenario or if EMS/Police are en route. If authorities are on the way, remain in character.
Incapacitation and Medical Help: If incapacitated, you must seek medical assistance while in character.
Long Scenarios: If a scenario becomes excessively long or unrealistic, open a ticket in Discord for staff review.
Consequences: Violating NLR may result in temporary bans, suspensions, or permanent removal, based on severity.
Scamming Restrictions
Group Size: Maximum of 2 players for scams, unless it’s a gang-to-gang scam (max 6).
Interaction: Scammers must engage in at least 2 minutes of face-to-face interaction.
Monetary Limit: The maximum scam amount is $25,000.
Whitelisted Workers: Those on duty are prohibited from conducting scams.
No Scamming in a Green Zone: Scamming in green zones is strictly forbidden.
Prohibited Roleplay
To maintain a respectful and safe roleplay environment, the following are strictly prohibited:
- Vigilante RP and Hitman RP: Roleplaying as a lone hero or hitman for personal gain is not allowed.
- Sexual Assault Roleplay: Non-consensual sexual actions, including rape or similar acts, will result in an immediate permanent ban.
- Suicide Roleplay (Suicide RP): Roleplaying involving suicide or self-harm is forbidden.
- Erotic Roleplay (ERP): Only allowed in private or closed areas; public ERP is a violation.
Cheating
Cheating or using external assistance (duplication, aim bots, ESP, mod menus, macros) to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
Meta Gaming
Meta gaming—using out-of-character information (e.g., from streams or external apps) to influence in-game decisions—is not allowed.
Real Money Trading (RMT)
Any exchange of real-world currency for in-game items, currency, or services is strictly prohibited.
Server Restarts
During server restarts, roleplay should not be disrupted. Guidelines include:
- No initiating criminal roleplay within 30 minutes before or after a restart.
- If arrested during a restart, return to the appropriate location after logging back in.
Gang Rules
General Gang Rules: Gang leaders are responsible for keeping members in check. Only players with the designated Gang Role may engage in gang activities, and you may only have one gang character. Creating a new character for revenge is not allowed.
Gang Vehicles: Gang vehicles cannot be bought or sold to outsiders. If you leave a gang, you must return or have the vehicle removed by staff.
Identifiers: Gang identifiers (vests, pocket flags, face masks, armbands) must be worn. Civilians should respect these identifiers.
Civilian Interactions
Civilian Females: No cursing, shooting, or inappropriate behavior toward civilian females without a valid reason.
Civilians: Do not harm or rob civilians unless provoked or caught in criminal activity.
Reporting Rule Breaks
When reporting gang-related issues, follow these guidelines:
- Provide a 2-minute clip (mandatory for report validity).
- The reporting player must not be breaking any rules.
- Include full context of the scene.
Excluded from the clip requirement are TOS rule breaks, F8 reports, and exploiting reports.
Spray Rules
Usage: A maximum of 2 sprays from another gang per storm. If in conflict with two gangs, each gang may take 2 sprays (total 4), and vice versa.
Removal: No emote canceling or laying down during spray removal. You must own at least 2 sprays to scratch another gang's spray.
Gang War Rules
Turf Wars: Initiate a turf war only with a proper roleplay narrative (e.g., taking another gang's flag).
Gang Wars: Can only be initiated by both gang leaders during a sit-down with agreed terms (initiation must be clearly communicated at least 15 minutes in advance, with a minimum of 2 out of 3 pushes). Dropping identifiers/flags during war is prohibited unless working a job; violations result in automatic forfeit.
Gang Member Rules: Members must wear identifiers at all times unless working. New recruits must wait 24 hours before full participation, and leaving a gang restricts joining another for 5 days.
Bullying Small Gangs: Larger gangs may not bully smaller gangs. Government intervention may occur if necessary.
Initiation and Territory: Issue a clear warning before hostilities; defending gangs may use unlimited members in their territory while outside only 6 may engage.
Gang Demands: Post-war, you must honor demands made by the opposing gang. Unreasonable demands will be reviewed by staff.
Gang Fights: For street fights, both gangs are limited to 6v6. Block pushes on the main flag are unlimited. If a gang forfeits, a 14-day cooldown is imposed.
Crate/Airdrop Rules
Team Composition: Only 6 members per team. Gangs from separate factions cannot team up for a team of 6. Non-gang criminals may team up; police may have up to 10 officers for crate events.
Red Zone Engagement: The red zone is KOS with no initiation required. Do not repeatedly enter/exit to avoid being shot. If you leave under fire, you may still be targeted. Restocking is not allowed inside the red zone.
Spectators: Spectating outside the red zone is at your own risk—you can still be shot. Players outside may not shoot in.
Ceasing Combat: All shooting must cease when the red zone ends or staff announces its end, with a 5-minute grace period.
Robbery and Looting: During a red zone event, players may rob freely; however, once the event ends, teammates may not retrieve belongings from a robbed player.
Police and Illegal Items: Police cannot arrest players during a red zone event; they may only confiscate illegal items while the event is active. Items in the 6th slot are not safe.
Reviving and Re-entry: Players may not re-enter a red zone after being revived. Respawning is only permitted if you are outside the red zone or if the event has ended.
Post-Event Conduct: Assist other players in getting medical help after the event ends.
Red Zone Timing: Only one red zone can be active at a time. Teams must wait at least 30 minutes between airdrop or red zone events.
Prohibited Actions: Do not push someone into a red zone to initiate KOS or carry over beef from crate events.
Final Notes
Adherence to these rules ensures a fun, immersive, and fair roleplay environment. Violations will be addressed promptly, with penalties ranging from warnings to permanent bans based on severity. Let’s work together to build a positive community.
